I found the new Mozilla file in the /tmp.
After becoming root changing directory and using "upgradepkg" to install
Mozilla Firefox 29 is up and running!

I wasn't able to copy all of the output-
Code:
Executing install script for mozilla-firefox-29.0.1-x86_64-1ro.tgz.
Package mozilla-firefox-29.0.1-x86_64-1ro.tgz installed.

Package mozilla-firefox-24.1.0esr-x86_64-1 upgraded with new package ./mozilla-firefox-29.0.1-x86_64-1ro.tgz.
I read online that upgrade pkg works by first installing the new pkg and then removing the old pkg.
I need to read further on that-

Thank You TobiSGD!-

By the way, as you probably already noticed, you don't need to run ruario's scripts as root.

Can that script be used in the future for upgrades?

If so that's a motivator to learn how to write my own:-

Yes. If there is no newer Firefox available than you have installed the script will simply abort and don't download again. Keep in mind that when you are using this script for installing and upgrading Firefox looking for security issues is now your job, you can't rely on the Slackware repos for that anymore.

Keeping security risk's as low as possible is a priority indeed.
I'll keep this in mind--

Bringing order to managing this distribution is going well. Learning and gaining the proper skills is a practice slowly learned and hoped for a production machine in the future.

This distribution is a great teacher and so are you, Thanks Tobi-
