Firefox 24 userChrome.css

I've been working on getting Slackware 14.1 setup like my other Slackware Systems, but for some reason placing my userChrome.css and userContent.css file in the firefox-24.1.0/chrome/ directory no longer seems to work system wide. I'm hoping to add these files on a system wide bases. I could copy my whole .mozilla/ into /etc/skel but I'm hoping to set this up in the /usr/lib(64) firefox-24.1.0 directory like I always have.

I never used that, but for what I've read on the mozillazine knowledge base it's a file meant to reside in the user profile, not system-wide.
the way you used it never seems to be officially supported

maybe you are better off asking this question to the mozilla developers.
