Firefox 21 and global extensions/searchplugins

Slackware 14.0 32-bit.

I updated to Firefox 21.0. Global extensions and searchplugins no longer work. There also are no global extensions or searchplugins directories. A fresh profile does not help.

Anybody else experiencing this?

I saw a previous thread with similar results with Firefox 20.0.

Where can I grab a copy of mozilla-firefox-20.0-i486-1_slack14.0.txz (32-bit)?

Thanks. :-)

When I was a child, sometimes my mother would rhetorically ask me whether I stayed awake at night thinking of ways to upset her. I always answered that question honestly with "No." As a child I could not even conceive why I would want to do that.

I don't think free/libre software developers can answer the same.

Apparently the Mozilla devs have nothing better to do than f-ck around just for the sake of f-cking with things. The reason my global extensions and searchplugins no longer were found is the d-ckheads moved the directory locations to firefox/browser. Thus, as I have done for years, when I copied those files to the root of the firefox directory they no longer were seen.

Change for the sake of change. No wonder free/libre software never gained a foothold in the desktop.

I'm pissed at wasting an hour and a half of my life because of a bunch of pricks.

On the Enterprise, LCARS was seen as the superior interface but then the Borg came along and implied that implants were needed.

Why upgrade? They only are finding more ways to implement the data tracking by default. ie. Crash Reports & Firefox Health.

Plus, they have it in their minds that they need their own Operating System. I suspect their narsicism is approaching critial mass.
