firebird and flash problems

ok. this is bugging me.
i just installed slackware 9 (full) onto one of my computers.
i then proceeded to download the binary firebird and unpack it to /usr/bin.
next, i downloaded the ttfonts and urw-fonts rpms from rpmfind.net, ran rpm2tgz on them, and pkgtooled em.
finally, i installed flash 6 by telling it /usr/bin/MozillaFirebird/ as the install. i checked the plugins directory, it installed correclty.
BUT
whenever i try to visit a page with flash on it, firebird just crashes completely. how do i fix this!? thanks!

Hi, it seems you've done the right thing, but anyway, here's a list of my Firebird plugins dir:

I had the flashplayer installed on Mozilla 1.4 and just copied the 2 files to the Mozilla Firebird plugins dir, it works great.
