fingerprint gui

hello fellow slackers,

I recently bought a thinkpad lenovo w530 with slackware64 current and kde installed,I was wondering if anybody has managed to get fingerprint-gui working and if there's a how-to somewhere?

reading its install docs, it seems to need PAM (see page 9).

The only implementation of PAM existing is provided by Vincent Batts, but it's for 14.0, not for 14.1 or -current
