filesystem become read-only aftera while

I have slack 13 installed. the /etc/fstab looks like this

Code:
/dev/sda5 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/sda1 / ext2 defaults 1 1
/dev/sda6 /tmp ext4 defaults 1 2
/dev/sda7 /home ext4 defaults 1 2
#/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom auto noauto,owner,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
Code:
root@slack32: /home/mro # df -h
Dateisystem Größe Benut Verf Ben% Eingehängt auf
/dev/root 16G 3,6G 12G 24% /
/dev/sda6 7,9G 1,3G 6,3G 17% /tmp
/dev/sda7 106G 9,4G 91G 10% /home
tmpfs 625M 0 625M 0% /dev/shm
After booting I can work for a while (maybe 30-60 minutes)

But suddenly the filesystems becomes ro. I get errors from apps which has to write back their information

I try his as a user and as root also and get this feedback:

Code:
root@slack32: /home/mro # touch wummi
touch: kann „wummi“ nicht berühren: Das Dateisystem ist nur lesbar
???

Any hints to solve this problems are welcome.

Did you check the usual suspects?
I mean, take a look in /var/log/messages & /var/log/syslog ...

The reason is an defect of the HD!

I found it out by accident because ther an error message appears in my terminal "journal commit I/O error"
