File sharing

i was wondering if there's a good file share program i can use to download music ?

Try searching for P2P applications. Most of the ones you know of in Windows they have ported versions for Linux.

What about bittorrent or DC++ client?

Of course the downloading fo copyrighted material could be illegal so .....
The emule/edonkey clones work pretty well, i compiled xmule on this box. You can also run giFT that uses the kazaa network. the gnutella clones......
