File names : pb with encoding

Hi all

I have encoding problems with the name of my files.

On a entire filesystem, I have files coming from Windows and files coming from Linux.

All the contents are right but names show curious characters for file coming from Windows.

I have downloaded convmv to change the names of the files.

I have tested on one file specifing the from encoding to cp1252 and the to encoding to utf8 and it works well !

So I tried to convert all the file names usinf the recursive option of convmv : it did the job without error.

But looking at the result, I found that some names have not been changed !

An I must modify the names by hand ; But is there a way to make a list of files that have wrong encoding name ?

Thanks by advance for your answers

Could you give some examples of the problematic file names?
