File icon preview for gtk filechooser no longer working in current
 

Application which uses gtk filechooser (Firefox, GIMP, pidgin, etc) no longer display icon previews. Specifically, image file icons showed a preview of the image. Now I get the default blimp image. Applications which uses the showpreview option on the right are still able to display a preview of the selected image. I have only been able to narrow this down to the April updates.

Now that 14.1 has hit beta, anyone have any clue on how to restore this feature? I am really starting to miss the little icons in firefox when uploading files.
