few general questions on TTF

hi,
i upgarded to moz1.6, and the fonts where pretty awful, so i did a search for TTF and i found an installation guide np there.

are TTF, 100dpi fonts i remember seeing during the install? or are they a own class of fonts?

do you get them in 9.1 (if so what directory?) or do you have to d/l the fonts from somewhere?
