Unhappy Fatal Server Error: active ring not flushed

I just configured my xorg.conf Then I typed startx that I get Fatal Server Error: active ring not flushed.

did you recently upgrade or recompile i suspect your permissions might be to blame here... please post the output of this command (run it as root):
find / -name Xorg | xargs ls -l
