f-spot


Hi, I instaled f-spot with no troubles.
But when I try to pun it
$f-spot
Starting new FSpot server
Cant' get a connection to the dbus. Trying again...

Maybe your dbus is not runing. Try /etc/rc.d/rc.messagebus start

No, dbus in running...
I tried a restart of dbus, f-spot still doesn't work.

Mind telling exactly how you installed f-spot ?

Hmmm, well if it absolutely can't find dbus and you're sure it's running, then try recompiling it without dbus. './configure --disable-dbus'.
