Extended stable support for the 3.8 kernel
 
I just saw this on LWN and wonder whether Slackware will benefit from this. (I mean is it possible that we don't need to revert to the 3.4 longterm kernel in the -current branch?)

I personally can't see Slackware switching to a kernel maintained by Canonical.

I believe that you have to sign the Ubuntu Code of Conduct before using the kernel...
