evolution and libgtkhtml-3.0.so.2

When I run evolution 1.4.4 I see the message:
evolution: error while loading shared libraries: libgtkhtml-3.0.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

What package has libgtkhtml-3.0.so.2????
I think that install evolution in slack10.1 is not easy

Go to http://www.linuxpackages.net and search for 'gtkhtml'. There is a pre-built package for Slack 10.1.

That being said, good luck with trying to get Evolution to work. Be prepared to track down a LOT of dependencies, some you can find already compiled into .tgz files, some you'll have to build from source code.

I like Evolution and the fact that it has the Exchange plug-in, but to me, the cost of getting it working under Slack was too great for the perceived benefit.

look in /usr/lib for any other shared libraries named........libgtkhtml-2.0.so.2 OR libgtkhtml-3.0.so.1

if there is just make a symlink from it to
libgtkhtml-3.0.so.2

The installation of evolution in slackware it's not easy. I give up. When I satisfied one dependence there's another and seams that never end!
