Mine says:

bash-2.05b$ md5sum slackware-10.1-install-d1.iso
d4f98d815fbd94488abf33f7db0df820 slackware-10.1-install-d1.iso

Don't know whether this is ok though? It's the same as your "cat slackware-10.1-install-d1.iso.md5"

btw, I got it from slackware.org via bittorrent. (it is extremely well seeded, just as fast as a server next door )

teek, I have no idea what it is anymore. I just downloaded it at work instead and the md5sum check worked out fine. I've yet to actually install it though since my motherboard is giving me problems lately and I'm probably going to have to replace it. So I'm just waiting until the outcome of that is concrete before I go ahead and put 10.1 on.

Ok, good luck with it, my install went ok. Having some problems compiling 2.6.11 now... but ok, thats what keeps it interesting cu
