eth0 problem


Hi,
I am new on slackware used fedora before
so the problam:
I have dlink 550 tx card and i need make it to work 10baseT-HD.

on fedora i compiled drivers put them where they used to be(/lib/modules/...../net) and edited modules.conf
naw i did thissame in slack but that don't work
tryed mii-tool -F 10baset-HD also don't work

and i saw one strange thing(for me) all files that was in /lib/modules/..../drivers/net was not .o but .o.gz and when i compiled my network deivers they where .o


anyone can help

Look in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules for the modules in Slack.
