Eterm config file

quick question:

i installed eterm last night mainly just get 'Esetroot' for fluxbox backgrounds transparency.

anyway i installed and it works, except that their is no profile config file? should there not be a .Eterm or something? i also looked in /root no default one in their either.

Why would you be looking in /root? Aren't you doing most work as a user and only su'ing when you need root priveleges?

The config file should be ~/.Xresources, or in some cases .Xdefaults. Open that file and you can add lines such as

eterm*transparency:true
eterm*background:black

and so on. Man eterm should show you all of the options and what symbolic names to use in this file.

yes thanks that helped. i reinstalled the 3 packages needed for Eterm and it worked prefectly. maybe i got corrupt package or something the first time....
