esp ghostscript slackware 9.1
 

Hi,

Whilst trying to get my printer working under slack 9.1 I was came across this error when trying to do a gs -v to find a list of information about the drivers installed.

# gs -v
gs: error while loading shared libraries: libXt.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I've search for this file and had no luck finding it I've seen a suggestion on another post that version i have (7.07.1) is the "wrong" version and 7.05.6 is correct.

however i've tried installing both and each time i recieve the same error, I think that gs not working properly i cannot resolve my printing problem.

That's a bit weird ... it's part of the XFree-4.x packages,
and in slack should be installed if you install defaults.

?
