Error while building xfdesktop 4.11.5


Hi, I am downloading the packages from here, following the instructions from here and everything is going fine except for xfdesktop.

I get this:

I am using the official SlackBuilds by the way.

Looks like it needs a newer version of glib2. Probably 2.38.2. But if you upgrade glib2, it will probably break *lots* of other stuff, that will need either a rebuild or a new version that will break *other* stuff that will need...

Well, if that is case I assume I can let the system this way (I recompiled all packages but this one).

I just upgraded glib2 2.40 and nothing broke (as far as I am aware). xfdesktop builds fine now. I will mark this as solved.
