Error msg when trying to mount USB key

Hello:

I get the attached error msg when I try to use Dolphin to browse my USB key. It is ext4 formatted.

I think that in a past 'USB partitioning adventure' I received a msg that there was no Superblock - I think that I was trying to format it to Fat32. At the moment, gparted cannot *successfully* format it to Fat32.

Have I killed-off my USB key?

Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Thanks,

I think if you mount the USB before try to browser the contens...

I don't if there is a way to give a permission to mount the devices on the /media...

I hope it solve your problem!

I think it is enough to add your user to the group "plugdev" and reboot:
Code:
gpasswd -a your_username plugdev

Thanks Eric, that was it!

(I forgot to do it after my re-install.)

Marking as SOLVED.
