error in /dev/hda2???

I havent got lilo installed yet, it boots off a floppy. When i try to boot i get this error:

/dev/hda2: UNDEXPECTED INCONSISTEMCY: RIM fscl MANUALLY.
(i.e., without -a or -p options)

From here i can boot with my root username and password, or hit ctrl+D to boot normally. Ive tried both, both revert back to the floppy boot screen. Is there any way to fix that? or should i reinstall? :D

Do what it it suggests.

1. Give root password
2. fsck the filesystem manually without any flags by commanding
fsck /dev/hda2
3. Answer any questions asked to repair
4.Reboot with control-D
