Error during booting but still can log in properly

Hi guys, i have just reinstalled my slackware 9.0. During Installation there was no error occured. But i have this error when booting into my slack :
"mcop warning user defined signal handler found for SIG_PIPE overriding.
Can't get own hostname. Your system is severely misconfigured."
As for information: i edited my HOSTNAME into myhostname.mydomain and set the IP to during installation. I even cannot ping to myhostname.mydomain (, while on localhost ( the ping is working properly. I had an ethernet card on my mainboard.
What should I do in order to solve this error message?
Thanks in Advance
