Epson Stylus Color 640
 

Has anyone ever had an Epson Stylus Color 640 working in Slackware flawlessly? If so, some suggestions would be helpful

yea sure I didn't manage to setup my ph-720c. . .never... :(

I am gonna try the new suse8 2 seee what has to offer..

I have an epson 440 that I believe uses either the same or similar driver to your 640. It works just as well as it does in windows. Using the apsfilter setup tool is fairly intuitive and you can test your configuration before you save it to disk.

I used the stp escp2 driver and both color and b&w print nicely.
