Epson C64 and CUPS 1.1.19

I have the Slackware 9.1 and CUPS from the official slack page, it does recognise the printer, I can start print the test page, but the printer won't print, just keep going asking pages and leaving them blanks. What is the correct driver i should use? Is that not a driver problem? I tried with many of them, but the problem didn't solved. HELP!!!

Download and install gimp-print-5.0.0-alpha1 this has the C64 Driver
use the commands
./configure --with-cups --without-foomatic
make
make install

I also downloaded and installed cups-1.1.20 just to make sure :-)
