I installed slackware current on AMD APU A4-5300. maximum cpu speed i have 3.4GHZ. But i cant go turbo boost mode 3.6GHZ? I have installed system on legacy BIOS mode. How can i enable turbo mode in cpu?

That chip's turbo core boost seems to be a BIOS feature, and not something Slackware can mess with.

You're talking about a 6% difference in performance anyway, and it'll run a lot hotter. I'd leave it alone. It's a chip from 2012, the thermal paste probably dried out years ago.

This is old HP machine. I can only install system as UEFI or legacy bios. ( i have chosen LEGACY ) There is no feature to turn on APU in turbo mode.
