I think so, but you have to install some requirements first:
Quote:

* pygtk
* python-dbus
* python-gconf
* pynotify
* python-smbus (optional)
AND "eee-control needs a kernel which provides the kernel modules eeepc_acpi or eeepc_laptop (included in Kernel 2.6.27+)."

edit: Okay, sorry, but this might be a bit harder than I thought... It's "installscript" uses the Debian/Ubuntu file-directory structure... It needs /etc/init.d/acpid which does not exist. You probably have to edit the sourcecode of eee-control first...

I'm pretty sure Alien Bob has eee-pc control scripts which get the function keys working in slackware. Using the generic kernel configs that come with slackware and everything on my eeepc 1000h works (web cam, bluetooh, cpu scaling, SD card reader etc)
