@mats_b_tegner I've noticed system freezes about once a day, random time with the 0.22.4 SBo version. Is that common? Is it related to the check version update daemon, BTW how to turn that off? Cheers

I haven't used the SBo version of E22.4 for a while so I would have to downgrade to E22.4 and test. I guess you will have to remove your
Code:
$HOME/.e
directory and reconfigure Enlightenment to remove the update check.

@mats_b_tegner Thanks for the support. Now getting the mailing list. E is removed but I'll keep an eye on development and issues others are experiencing. The 0.22.4 SBo version is stable, except for the freeze up each day. I also found that the windows tasks (middle button mouse click) were only showing for the monitor the mouse was resting on and the ibar was only showing the background apps of the monitor it was on. XFCE is dual monitor aware and was presenting all tasks. So I'll watch the mailing list and post on the IRC and see if there are solution, then share here if appropriate. Hoping E could replace KDE WM, since I don't use any KDE apps. Cheers.
It seems to require PAM. I guess it's time to update the build-scripts now that PAM is available in -current under /testing.
Just FYI, I have not seen anywhere where efl now requires PAM. I just built 1.24.0 with no PAM, and it didn't ask for it nor does it mention it in my log.
EDIT: I see now, enlightenment needs PAM, yea that seems to have started with 0.22.2

I haven't tested it, to be honest. I only use the following at the moment:
EFL 1.22.6, Python-EFL 1.22.0, Enlightenment 0.23.1, Ephoto 1.5, Rage 0.3.1 and Terminology 1.6.0.
