DynDNS on a shared router?

Hi! My friend and I are sharing a linksys befsr41 router for our dsl connection and we're both using slackware 11.

I'm wondering, is it possible to run a functional webserver/mailserver in one machine? What if we're both going to use 2 different hostnames from dyndns?

How do I set it up?

TIA

Yes, set the DMZ to point to each system for the service(s) on the router. Note both cannot share the same port(s). You only need one account with two hostnames, one for you and one your friend BTW (share the cost???). The router has a setting/page to provide the username/passowrd info for DynDNS.

you can certainly update two seperate dynamic domain accounts from two boxes behind a single router, they wouldn't naturally know anythign about each other at any level. the issue is how you port forward two domains to (presumably) seperate domains.. that's impossible without running something at a higher layer, e.g. squid or mod_proxy in apache.
