hello

i have dvdrom problam in kde

i am using slackware-current, kde 3.3.2

when i mount cd it is oky i can umount nicely
but i cant eject my cddrom after give umount
if i manually press the eject button of my dvd
then is does not work

after unmount if i wat abt 1 min then it can eject pressing the eject button
the "eject /mnt/cdrom" from shell do not work in kde


in gnoem everything fine

i have another way to go Alt+alt+bkp
then i can eject my dvd rom by

eject /mnt/cdrom

i also use mostly kde , but there's a lot of bugs inthere:
-using arts for a tune when new mail arrived froze the desktop for the time needed to play that tune.
(shut down arts )

- startup notification ( something moving around the pointer when starting a program) made the processor running at a 100 %
( switch it off in the menu settings. )

they must have tons of bugreports there....

i just guess for your prob, change

dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,user,ro 0 0

to

dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,sync,user,ro 0 0.

in the fstab. that might solve it. ( but i'm not sure... )
