DVD/B-ray writer permission issue with slackware64-current

2 Attachment(s)
Hi!
I'm trying to make my B-ray writer to work with slackware64-current, but keep getting errors like this:

Code:

No write access to device /dev/sr0
K3b needs write access to all the devices to perform certain tasks. Without it you might encounter problems with PIONEER - BD-RW BDR-XD07
Solution: Make sure you have write access to /dev/sr0. In case you are not using devfs or udev click "Modify Permissions..." and setup permissions by hand.

My user is in all required groups:

K3b prompted me to add my user to a 'blank' group, and then errored out with this message:

Code:

Unable to execute the action: gpasswd --add m : (Error code: 3)
I couldn't get it to work in my 14.2 install either, along with my dvd burner which also only kind-of worked, wasting many dvd-R disks.

What should i do?

Ok, sorry, i tryed copying and it also gave an error message in the middle of the process. Then i changed an usb cable and plugged the drive to another usb port, now copying worked.

Afterwards writing an image to a dvd-rw disk also succeeded. Will try a B-ray disk next. I guess the cable or usb port on this old computer is flaky.
