Dual monitor setup woes...

Ok so I found an extra monitor on the street... and it works.

I desided to hook it up to my Slack box for dual monitor goodness... however I am having some trouble getting it to work.

I reran the fglrxconfig program and selected the dual monitor mode...
However when I startx only one of my monitors gets used.

My card is an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro.. and the two heads are at PCI:1:0:0 and PCI:1:0:1.

The first monitor that gets used is on PCI:1:0:0 and the new second monitor is on PCI:1:0:1.

My log looks like this...

(II) Primary Device is: PCI 01:00:0
(--) Assigning device section with no busID to primary device
(WW) fglrx: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:1:0:1) found

However my device section has an entry for the other head... (PCI:1:0:1)

It looks like this...

Section "Device"
Identifier "ATI Graphics Adapter connector 1"
Driver "fglrx"
BusID "PCI:1:0:1"
Screen 1
EndSection

Any help?

Have you searched here for "dual monitor"?
There are a lot of threads about it.

Sorry, I don't have dual monitors setup myself.

Good luck...

Edit: Hey, and don't get all frowny. There are hundreds of threads started every day and they sometimes get lost in the shuffle.
