DST Change and Slack 9.1

Anywhere I can get an update or source to fix a Slack 9.1 box to handle the coming DST date change?

don't you think it's time for an upgrade?

just use ntp

NTP only sets the hardware clock to UTC. It is a function of the timezone libraries in glibc(I think) that affect how the time is displayed with respect to the actual timezone.
While I agree that upgrading may not be a bad idea, I can also say that I think if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

This thread describes how to create new timezone files using the latest source for glibc.
