Dsniff on slackware?
Before I get any flak I'd just like to clarify that this is only going to be used on my home network. That being said I was wondering if anyone has gotten Dsniff running on Slackware 10.2? Installing it seems to be some kind of riddle and/or joke as it seems to require old libraries, many source tweaks/fixes, etc.. I've been trying to install this for 2 hours now and from what I gather you need libnet1.0.2a, libnids1.16 and some "special" package of dsniff. Each source I download and try to compile has different errors in random peices of incorrect code obviously placed there (probably to keep kids from using it?). It's getting fairly annoying now as I am trying to learn more about networking security, not how to debug c++. So please if anyone knows how to get a working version of Dsniff running let me know. Thanks in advance!
