Dsl wireless modem not connecting?
Hello all,
im new to the linux world and i fallowd the instructions on how to connect to the internet but i seem to cant connect. i have a Westell wireless modem(router). My computer is conected directly to the computer. I dont know how to connect it i tried the netconfig...it did not work...But im sure some one out there knows how.

Than that would be with an ethernet cable?

Try this as root
dhcpcd eth0
ping www.google.com -c 3
If that doesn't work try
dhcpcd eth1
ping www.google.com -c 3
