DSL USB Westell modem
this is a fresh install of slackware 10.0 stock kernel bareacpi kernel
on gateway laptop.
Trying to us dsl westell modem through usb port.
slack finds item shows it in kde info center.
using adsl-setup
configure it what device do I use? default is /dev/eth0
there is no ethernet card. what do I use?
i tryed /dev/usb, /dev/sda, /dev/usb0
also is there a driver i need to load if kde is finding it.
dmesg also shows:
hub.c: new USB device 00:07.2-1, asigned address 3
usb.c USB address 3 (vend/prod 0x6a9/0x5) is not claimed by any driver
any help would be apreciated

Well I've given up on usb modem, could someone
recomend a pcmia wireless card that conforms to standard "B"
and has drivers for slackware 10.0 or give me a place to start to
look thanks
