Dropline GNOME still active?
Is Dropline GNOME still active?
3.10 alpha was released Dec 24, and beta was Jan 18. No updates since and the Dropline forum link is down?

After the GNOME project announced a hard dependency on systemd for upcoming releases, the folks from Dropline GNOME decided to open a boat repair shop in the South Pacific. But this information should be double-checked.

You may want to PM or email saxa or bartgymnast for update on Dropline Gnome.

Do you have a link to that announcement? AFAIK there is no such dependency, but only a dependency on the DBUS interface of systemd-logind.

This is about Debian package dependencies, not real Gnome dependencies, I would think. Gnome 3.10 works on OpenBSD and the OpenBSD developers think about implementing the DBUS interfaces usually provided by systemd-logind, of course without any porting of systemd.
