Of course it is possible to, and it should work out of the box already. I just built GDM because IIRC some other parts were requireing it.
Anyway if you want to use KDM or any other DM it should work out of the box.

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. I've been in the midst of moving the last few weeks and haven't had much time to do this. Anyway, I just uploaded my build scripts to GitHub:

As I said, GDM is not working, but everything should at least build without issue using the provided SlackBuild scripts. (If not, there may be some minor changes left over from testing that I forgot to revert.) I hope you or someone can get it working so that we can have something closer to a complete GNOME without SystemD.

Bugs are still on sf.net go to sourceforge dropline gnome page and see there, or you can write it here.
