Driver Nvidia ?


I have a GF3 (hercules) and i would like install nvidia driver.

Nvidia work good on slackware 9 ? anybody has tried ?

ps = (I have an Athlon 1900+).

should work fine as long as you follow the directions correctly at nvidia.com there is also a very large amount of info about this on this site.

I have dl Kernel & gfx file on nvidia.com (IA32) and i try it tonight!

I have slackware 9.0 installed with the nvidia driver. I have had no problems with it.

I didnt have any problems until I used an older version of the drivers, that is. I ended up downloading a 3.x version of the nVidia drivers. I got a GeForce 2 MX440.

By following the threads in this and other forums , it seems like there is problems with the version: 1.0-4191 of Nvidia driver when using it with Xfree 4.3

To solve the problem, use the Version: 1.0-3123 of the driver instead!
