DRI for Intel GM965 -- Slackware 12.0

Hi,
I just did a fresh install of Slackware 12.0 on a new Thinkpad T-61 and am having trouble getting DRI working. The graphics card is an Intel Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller. I am running a slightly modified version of the huge-smp-2.6.21.5 kernel.

Here is the relevant portion of xorg.conf:

Code:
Section "Module"
    Load "dbe"
    SubSection "extmod"
        Option "omit xfree86-dga"
    EndSubSection
    Load "type1"
    Load "freetype"
    Load "glx"
    Load "dri"
EndSection

Section "Device"
        Identifier "IntelCard"
        Driver "intel"
EndSection

Section "DRI"
        Mode 0666
EndSection
And here is what /var/log/Xorg.0.log reports (edited to fit, hopefully I didn't delete anything relevant):

Code:

I resolved the issue. It turns out that my sound card was not supported by the current Slackware kernel. I upgraded to 2.6.22.5 and added the fb_intel module. Now dri works. Next task -- sound.
