Downgrade toolchain from GCC4.1.2 to 3.4.6
Hi all,
I am currently using Slackware 12 but I need to downgrade the GCC compiler back to 3.4.6 from 4.1.2. Has anyone tried to do this, and if so how do you do it? I know I need to remove glibc as well as all of the packages in /d of the installation disk, but package manager will not uninstall it returning with return code=1. I cannot then install the older version of glibc from my slackware 11 disk. How can I remove this and have I missed anything else that I need to replace? Thanks for your help, Steve |

install them alongside your 4.1.2 . alien's build will work alongside 4.1.2 seemlessly :) |
