I just heard about this, and think it's awful. I also just heard about GitHub's new sponsorship program. It's like Patreon for open source developers. Maybe this might be something that can help. I don't know if you're on GitHub (unless you're https://github.com/volkerdi), but it could be an option.
https://github.com/sponsors. It's still in an early beta, but I bet you could easily get approved as one of the early testers.

That's a good option, even though I'm not a huge fan of the GitHub or anything in its immediate vicinity. I'll use it anyway - what the heck.
PayPal is unavailable at my location, and Mr. Volkerdi doesn't seem to be into coins. So, yeah, an alternative way to contribute would be super awesome.
Thanks, but are you certain that works internationally? If so, I would look into that.
Yes. It will work. It's the United States mailing address to Pat's Post Office box. Put the cheque into an envelope with an adequate amount of stamps on it and it will get there.
I am unemployed right now, but I made some good money on my last jobs.
How could I thank you Slackware for that? Slackware changed my whole life! All what I know of Linux is because I mainly studied on Slackware. I use Slack since 1999 and I am still here.
Made a donation, only today, just a few bucks but I will put more on the next months. PLEASE, take care of your family and count with your second family too (us, slackware users).
paypal.me/volkerdi works fine here in Recife, Brazil. THANK YOU MR VOLKERDI!
I'm lazy. I'll admit it. Does Pat have any more 14.2 DVDs that I can buy off of him?
He never had them. All DVD handling was done by the now-defunct shop.
Just download the images (iso's) and burn them yourself, that will give Pat just as much money as he got from the shop (none!).
