I just sent him $50 by written check/snail mail. I don't do paypal for the aformentioned reasons. I figure I owe him for 20 years of fun with Slackware.

Just sent my share as well.

On a topical note, does anyone know if there would be any kind of legal complication for a 501(c)(3) private foundation if they sent Patrick a grant for his work on Slackware?

I know they send grants to individual open source software developers for their accomplishments, but don't know if they could do the same when that individual also runs/owns a company related to that work. Would that be considered too much like granting to a private company?

I don't use Slackware but a couple of years ago I donated $100 US and got an email thanking me. That was nice and I do appreciate what Slackware is. I like the fact they haven't knuckled under and drank the systemd koolaid.

I have missed some months too because I forget. When are we going to get a monthly donation option in PayPal at least?
