Please try to state the facts correctly.
Slackware-current does not have, and will not have, KDE 4.4.0.

There are unofficial packages for KDE 4.4.0 that are built for slackware-current: http://alien.slackbook.org/ktown/4.4.0/ but these are not going to be part of the official Slackware tree. They will not work reliably on Slackware 13.0 either.

Why the negative attitude? Because he is living in Bangladesh and you in India? I see no reason for the undercurrent in your post, and you're not running Slackware either so why even bother to post here?

I have 4.4 on my Arch system. Am I to understand that by switching to SW I would not have to have this?

Before people start yelling "troll" again :-)
No, Slack stays with 4.3 and you knew that of course.

I have (almost) never behaved in the way that I normally associate with "troll". I do sometimes indulge in a bit of levity when I think people are taking themselves a bit too seriously...

Please don't tell anyone in cola's thread that: (shhhh!) I actually have a lot of respect for Slackware and may one day learn to use it.
