Does 14.1 Fix the Dolphin Auto-Refesh Bug?

Greetz
I really don't like to do whole system upgrades and always put it off until I just feel compelled. So I don't want to go from 14 to 14.1 unless at the very least it is a simple fix for the Dolphin inotify auto-refresh bug. I just need to hear from someone who had the bug in an earlier version and 14.1 fixed it. It is most definitely NOT limited to certain 2.6 kernels.

Can you post a link to this bug in the KDE bugtracking system?

They are all over since it apparently began around 2008. At first it was closely tied to kernel 2.6.37 iirc and the KDE team have implemented patches and fixes but still it persists. I asked because although inotify is the same version for both releases, KDE went from 4.8.5 to v 4.10.5.

Here is a link from kde forums starting just last year http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f...98940&start=30

As for the actual kde bug tracker Here KDE apparently thought release 4.10 fixed it so it looks like I will be planning a system update to 14.1. I surely would like confirmation from a Slack14.1/KDE 4.10.5 user though, since they have thought it fixed several times before.

Just tested that with Dolphin on 14.1, new files and folders appear immediately without manual refresh.

Thank you once again Toby. That's all the impetus I needed. Guess I'm working hard tomorrow night when a new backup hdd arrives.
