It would be more productive to include the relevant errors, and when the issues are clear, one of 2 things will show.
1. Actually, the system wasn't set up right
2. Actually the updates were broken.

Either way the world of slackware will be better off. This way,(hiding the errors), you just get ignored as a crank.

actually it was #3
but I am sure if I only used one sound card this would not happen. any way the program is built in 32 and 64 now and does not freeze loading openjpeg 1.4 or 1.5 now. thank you all for you kind and wonderful replies.
