Disable url highlighting in mate terminal

Does the mate terminal have a way to permanently disable URL highlighting (underlining)?

I found such an option for the xfce terminal but not mate.

Thanks.

Another terminal is going out
A sea of users crying out
With all we have today
You think we'd stop and take a look now, yeah
And all I want to say
Is maybe that we should reach out, everybody.

No, this is an author of the man page, not one of the developers of mate-terminal.

Furthermore, posting an email address in a forum is bad practice as this helps spammers. Please edit your post and remove the link.

@upnort: rather, file a feature request here.
