Disable AGP from lilo

Recently I upgraded my kernel on one of my machines to 2.4.31, using a package downloaded from slackware.com (scsi2.s). Startup goes fine until it tries to recognize my graphics chip (Intel 440BX), when it just sits there indefinetly (no error or such, just sits there waiting). Since its a console-only box, I dont need the agp driver, so I was wondering if there was a way to disable it from lilo. (agp is built into the kernel, and is not a module, else I would simply comment out the from modules.conf). Thanks.

Use Slackware installation disk to boot-up your machine then mount your /root partition, disable agp module in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules

Gah. I was looking at the wrong file. I had used knoppix to boot my machine and was looking at /etc/modules.conf instead of /etc/rc.d/rc.modules
Stupid mistake. Thanks for your help Dark().

For quick troubleshooting, you also can use the noagp kernel boot parameter.
