There isn't a lot of info in the archive, is there? But, looking at the install program, it appears that untarring it & running "install.sh" as root should be all that is needed. Oh, it is a python program. Be sure you have python installed.
Regards,
Bill

ok python has since been installed successfully and i have tried passing the chmod +x argument with ./install.sh and yet my problem continues.the program shows up on the multimedia tab but wont execute. when i try to call it in the console here is what i get.
"Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/devede", line 22, in ?
import pygtk # for testing GTK version number
ImportError: No module named pygtk"
i hope everyone is still interested enough to help

Well apparently you also have to install pygtk which is the python port for the GTK toolkit. Just download the .tgz from linuxpackages and install it, my guess is that your sw will run.
