From the look at their website, the last two releases seem to have come around June, so I would assume it won't be out till that time or so!

It will be released when Patrick feels its ready as no one knows here or will ever know when a distro is released. This question is asked all the time and its the same response: We Don't Know!

Keep an eye on the Changelog of current over at This last time around Patrick did a couple release candidates, 3 if I remember right, starting about 2 months run up to the 8.1 release.

Oh, and yesterday current went up to the 2.4.20 kernel, inculding all the new XFS fun and joy!
