I too was interested in lutris and discovered that it didn't "just work" on current. My solution was to install these latest testing (gnome 3.38) packages from saxa's droplinegmome.org site/project: gnome-desktop, webkitgtk, & libseccomp; and also "pip3 install" whatever python bits lutris complains are missing when trying to start it.I used the latest git version of lutris. The release tarball on the lutris download page only half works. This approach doesn't involve patching or compiling, so I thought it was useful to mention it here.

My sbo files still work. Also I have recompiled all my SBO files few days ago.

I can't push a version newer than 3.18.2 to SlackBuilds.org because it doesn't compile in 14.2(the latest version).

It does. I'm on 14.2 and got 3.35.91 to work but that needs a bit of lifting, as the build requirements in the meson file are too strict, I guess.
See attached patch for gnome-desktop.
Not sure if this is viable for SBo, though.

I will compile it on my Slackware64 14.2 VM, if all works, I will add a option when building the package, CURRENT=yes, to skip this patch.
